Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging, high-quality PE lessons, sports leadership programmes and after-school clubs.

  • Leading sport and physical activity sessions for autistic children and young people within an alternative provision setting.

  • Supporting, mentoring and managing coaching staff.

  • Planning and delivering inclusive, engaging and differentiated sessions.

  • Building positive relationships with school staff, pupils and parents.

  • Monitoring the quality of delivery and helping develop our coaching programmes.

  • Supporting the continued growth and reputation of SW Performance Coaching.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Level 2 Sports Coaching qualification (minimum).

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Safeguarding qualification (or willingness to complete training).

  • First Aid qualification 

  • Experience working with primary-aged children.​

 

Desirable

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.

  • AFPE Level 5 qualification

  • Experience in SEND or alternative provision.

  • Paediatric First Aid qualification.

 

Pay: From £15.00 per hour​

Football
coach
Friday 5-6pm and Saturday 9-10am

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging football coaching sessions

  • Lead weekly Friday evening and Saturday morning sessions

  • Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and health & safety standards are met

  • Set up and pack away equipment

  • Communicate professionally with parents, children, and staff

 

Essential Requirements

  • FA Level 2 Football Coaching Qualification (minimum FA Level 1)

  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Safeguarding Children in Sport Qualification (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Confident running sessions independently

  • Previous experience coaching children (preferred)

  • Must have own transport to travel between LE6 and LE67

  • Valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

  • Appropriate self-employed status (or willingness to register)

 

Desirable

  • Additional coaching or sports-related qualifications

 

Pay: £12.50-£15.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Football coaching: 2 years (preferred)​

 

Licence/Certification:

  • Certificate in Coaching Football (required)

  • First Aid Certification (required)

  • Safeguarding Certification (required)

  • Enhanced DBS (required)
